During our recent trip to Lake Garda, we had the pleasure of dining at ExPort Pizzeria di Belmonte Massimo & C. Snc, and it turned out to be one of the culinary highlights of our visit. This charming spot is renowned for its gluten-free pizza, and I can now say from experience—it’s absolutely stunning. Without a doubt, it’s the best gluten-free pizza I’ve ever had. The base was perfectly crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and held together beautifully—no crumbling, no cardboard texture, just pure pizza joy.
While it's a slight shame that gluten-free pasta isn't available, the rest of the menu more than makes up for it. My wife ordered their Spaghetti Carbonara, and she couldn't stop raving about it. According to her, it was “next level”—creamy, perfectly seasoned, and rich with authentic Italian flavor.
As someone with Celiac disease, it's always a relief to find a place that not only offers gluten-free options but does them exceptionally well. Alongside the pizza, I was also pleased to find a selection of gluten-free beers and desserts, which made the whole experience feel complete and inclusive.
The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable about dietary requirements, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable.
If you're in the Lake Garda area and need a gluten-free friendly place (or even if you don’t), ExPort Pizzeria is a must-visit. The quality of the food, the attention to dietary needs, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere make this spot highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly satisfying...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience!
We reserved a table, when we arrived the table was not ready and we were left waiting in front of the entrance where you stand rather awkwardly. No drink nor waiting inside was offered to us. Luckily the table was ready 10-15 after our reservation time.
The waitress was nice enough, however she mistaken one of our orders and brought out the wrong plate. When we attended her to it she was rather quick to tell her colleague who came to correct me? Weird because i knew what i ordered. I had to explain to her what the dish was (she dident understand what the dish was as she dident know what was on the menu). When the correct dishes arrived we were extremely disappointed. The ravioli was completely flavourless and the discription should be taken very literal, ravioli filled with cheap fish and some misplaced veggies on the side. The Bram (fish) was two sad peaces of cold fish on a plate without any seasoning without any sort of sides. We also ordered a big salad (which was actually big) however, the salad was extremely bitter and lacking any flavour, when we pointed this out to the waitress she tried to ague that this was the kind of salad. Unfortunately this is not true as we’ve had many similar salads before, none of which was bitter. The only start they deserve is because of the kind waitress but i would recommend not to ever eat here! Value your money and spend it at a place that actually serves you a...
Read moreWe stopped off for a dinner having walked all around the area and decided that pretty much all of the menus were identical I every restaurant, especially if like us you are vegetarian. Prices were not visible on the menu but it didn't look high end so we grabbed a table. Waiting staff pleasant, typical wait times for Italy. Food however not so great. 4 cheese pizza and mushroom tagliatelle. The pasta had hardly any mushrooms and was super uninspiring to eat, although the homemade tagliatelle was ok. The pizza however was without doubt the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The tomato sauce was literally tasteless and had no seasoni g, just a can of pureed tomatoes. The cheeses were bland. If you're dieting then go here because it's unlikely you will bother eating your dinner. 40 euros for a wine, a beer and the two dishes that we left, so not...
