DISCOVERING ITALY Review by ALEXSARI94. Look for my reviews on Maps! Short Italian version is below.
EXPERIENCE: 5/5 To have dinner on a little island, surrounded by a soft lantern light all around, is something extremely relaxful and romantic. The atmosphere is great, the outside terrace is perfect and the restaurant is really awesome. Yet the pizza is not among the best ones I have tasted in my life, I can say it is extremely tasteful. The pizza’s base (pasta) is really soft and digestible, and I am pretty sure it is made with premium quality flour (although I did not manage to discover its origin).
SERVICE: 3/5 Hard evaluation, with pros and cons: staff is extremely kind and helpful. They serve you a welcome appetizer which was really appreciated. Fast service, yet we arrived quite late (9pm). Main cons are two: kitchen closes too early (at 9pm on Saturday) and there is no included boat transfer from the coast to the island (only access during the night is by private boat service with a cost of 10 euros per person, sailing every 30 minutes. A way too high cost for the basic service offered). I would suggest to the restaurant to establish a partnership with a boat and to let the customer coming for free (or, eventually, increasing the restaurant’s service cost of some euros).
PRICE: 3/5 Price is fair enough (8 euros average), considering the soft and unique pizza’s base. Would be nice, once again, to avoid (or to limit) the 10 euros boat transferring costs.

Read moreRistorante in a great location directly at the lake, in a row of various restaurants. We had antipasti with fish from the lake which was ok. A pizza and pasta which were good. A homemade lasagne which was ok. And mixed grilled fish from the lake which was a bit too grilled for my taste preference and which we suppose made my stomach ache afterwards (I was the only one with fish and the only one with stomach problems). But it might also have been coincidence, we‘ll never know…
So, all in all 3 stars just for the great location, a friendly service and the overall good...
