The food was simply phenomenal! Great service, decent wine, nice atmosphere, everyone should try this place! Not the classic fish food restaurant, rather a modern Italian cuisine with a fresh look at classic recipes and simply outstanding cooking skills. Especially our main course, fresh fish ragout in pasta with ricotta zucchini sorbet sauce and fresh cherry tomatoes was shockingly good and incredibly well composed, a wonderful experience in every aspect! La Bodeguita is a treasure. As a fellow Cuban, I was both surprised and deeply impressed to find authentic Cuban dishes here on the island—and even more impressed by how incredible they are. Every bite brought me right back to the flavors of home. The owners are absolutely outstanding people: warm, caring, and so genuine that they’ve become like family. Beyond the Cuban specialties, the pasta is outstanding, the fresh fish is cooked perfectly, and the wine selection is excellent. Rave reviews brought me here and I’m glad I came. Delicious, creative dishes and good wines from the region. I had the seafood tasting plate; fresh raw red prawns dusted w pistachios, cured salmon w fresh ginger and candied lemon and other fruits, and octopus on a purée of potatoes w dill.
