Edit: the owner says that it is not food colouring, but “chlorophyll.” In my opinion, a “little bit” of chorophyll could not result in this bright green colour, it would need to be such a large amount so as to make the explanation implausible. Regardless, I did not find the quality to be good at all, regardless of the appearance. Anyway, others can judge for themselves from the photo. I do not deny that in the view of tourists from that country we all know on the other side of the Atlantic, it may be the best ice cream of their lives. I had a very disappointing experience at this ice cream shop. When we visited, the staff laughed at us for no apparent reason, which was quite rude and uncomfortable. When I asked why they were laughing, the response I received was, “If you don’t like it, you can leave.”

Artisan ice cream shop or gelateria in ortigia. They have a nice variety of flavours of gelato and granite. I had the pistachio and cannoli which were spectacular, creamy and flavorful!
