If I could leave zero stars I would. First thing messed up was the order, I asked for a panini with prosciutto. I got bread with tomatoes and mozzarella. My sister is vegetarian, she ordered spaghetti with no meat. She got ham in her spaghetti. Wasn’t even worried about it, we were both hungry so we just switched plates. When payment came, we had trouble with their card machine. My sister tried her cards before I tried mine, both credit and international debit. Nothing was being accepted by the machine. We had given the last of our cash to the taxi, so we tried working with the restaurant and looked around the area for ATMs or a different form of payment besides card. No working ATMs. The restaurant calls up the manager on the phone, the manager demands we leave our documents (passports) with the restaurant and come back tomorrow to pay the bill. We inform him our flight leaves early tomorrow morning so that won’t be an option, and that his tone of voice wasn’t appreciated. He states that our flight is not his problem, that they have security cameras recording us, and then threatens to call the police. At that point I realize the police might be the best bet in this situation, seeing as the manager on the phone is incredibly rude and aggressive, and we couldn’t find a working ATM so maybe the police could help find one. Tried one last time with my debit card on their machine before contacting the police, and my card got accepted.
Overall, we did not enjoy our time here, from the messed up food to the broken card machine to the demanding, aggressive, and very...
Read moreHighly recommend you don’t go to the place. Food and especially drinks are expensive in comparison to the restaurant beside it. As for the food itself- we paid 12€ for fish and chips which turned out to be what I’m assuming is two Small supermarket fish goujans and a small handful of skinny freezer chips. We also got a carbonara for €12 which I’m again I’m assuming came from the freezer section of a supermarket. To add to this we had to send back both of these dishes as the “noodles” (couldn’t call it spaghetti) in the carbonara were completely hard and the fish in one of the goujans was completely raw and cold. We received the exact same food back again just had been put back into the oven/microwave a bit longer. As much as I don’t want to be offensive with the pizza if it is cooked fresh, it again tasted like an average store bought pizza and again was undercooked. Beer prices were very expensive in comparison to nearby restaurants. Service was nice and friendly that’s about all I can say. Do not recommend at all, hurt me to pay...
