Art. 21 — Restaurant in Taranto

We arrived on a busy Saturday evening before the restaurant was open without a reservation (it opens at 2030). As english speaking tourists, the kitchen staff could see us struggling to figure out where to go next and came out to greet us. Instead of turning us away, they opened the restaurant a half hour early just for us! We were then served an amazing set menu dinner for 25 euros per person of at least 7 starter plates followed by 3 more courses. Starter plates included sardines, octopus, mussels, squid in sauce, fish, and cured meat. The first and second main courses included a variety of fish and pasta. When I entered I was not sure if it was the Art.21. but later one social worker came to introduce us into the core history of the project. Then my colleagues said, let's wait, taste the food and then we can rate them with no link to the story we just Heard.

After tasting all the menu they proposed, I am definitely sure I will go back there to eat once more, but more time and I will strongly recommend anyone to try the food then hear the story of the business and see how we can change people life with only one action....

We had an excellent lunch here. As mentioned by other reviews, they serve a set menu for the day. €25 per person which includes Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, beverage and either a lemon sorbet or coffee to finish the meal. Enjoyed the food till bursting!
