I am sorry to leave such a low rated review to a business with strong potential in a fantastic location, right at the heart of my own hometown. I shall advice against all visits to this place. Me and five other relatives spent a day at this beach renting 6 sun beds and 3 beach umbrellas. We had drinks and food for a total of more than 200€uros. A lady working in the lido area demonstrated very poor customer service skills and a quite rude and aggressive attitude towards us. The refreshments were served on a table standing between our sunbeds under their own initiative. This unmannered lady quickly came to us to complain saying that the responsible police wouldn't allow such a thing and that the food was only to be consumed on the restaurant area. I had to respond to her that it was not our initiative neither fault to have the food served there. She insisted until I had to specify that it was her colleagues fault and I kindly thanked her for coming all the way there to tell us off. You should imagine, exactly at the moment of eating our food that we paid for, she came to spoil the moment uselessly. As a result, she just had take my complain and walk away. Unhappily she came back a minute later with her card machine asking for a payment while we were still eating. At some point the started coming to demand payment while we were not planning to leave the beach anytime before 5.00pm She came twice until I had to stand up and pay (while you would normally pay all the account at the end...). While I asked her to specify the costs she answered saying that I shouldn't worry. I replied that I wasn't worrying. She walked away. The service needs to be improved with more training of customer service skills or basic politeness. Although the beach seems to be well equipped and comfortable, the seaside it's nothing special. Posto suggestivo...il mare lo rende ancora più spettacolare ....interno curato nei minimi particolari .....siamo stai accolti con cordialità e con i sorrisi ...ci siamo sentiti a casa ...si magia divinamente ....lo scheff è un ottimo professionista ....ci ha deliziati ....il personale molto attento..gentile ....educato ... Molto curati nell'abbigliamento ...Gennaro è molto professionale meritano un plauso ...gli ottimi dolci hanno chiuso in bellezza il pranzo eccezionale .....cosa dire... provare per credere ... invitiamo i tranesi e turisti a pensarci per trascorrere in serenità una giornata speciale ...vi salutiamo cordialmente... a presto ...Giuseppe, Daniela...ieri sera siamo stati al bar bistrot aquae ....posto molto tranquillo con una bella visuale ...si trova vicino al castello Svevo e difronte al mare ...una meravigliosa cartolina delle bellezze di Trani ....conferiamo la gentilezza e la professionalità di Gennaro e la professionalità di Mario uno scheff geniale prepara degli ottimi piatti da leccarsi i baffi ....il bar offre anche vini, bibite, caffè, dolci , liquori di ottima qualità, prosecco etc....al mattino si può fare un'ottima colazione..... invitiamo i tranesi e i visitatori a fermarsi e sicuramente apprezzerete tutto con grande soddisfazione....noi ci torneremo presto ... auguriamo a Mario e Gennaro successi e soddisfazioni.....vi salutiamo con stima e affetto......buon tutto e buona vita ...un abbraccio ... On a windy, relatively cold evening in May I dined inside. I chose a primi and a secondi of the menu and they were both very tasteful and refined. The plates were beautifully made with great attention. Way beyond a simple seaside bistrot. If the wheater is good and you can sit outside in the evening the experience will even be better. You'll understand I recommend Aquae Caffè Bistrot and wish Mario Cimino and his staff...
