Focacceria & Mix Bar Le Bugiarde — Restaurant in Trapani

I came to this cafe for the second time, hoping for another enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, things took a frustrating turn. We arrived at 11:20, planning to sit outside, as both the sign on the door and the online information stated that the restaurant opened at 11:00. However, we were informed that they were still closed.

The lady at the counter was kind enough to offer us a seat outside while we waited for them to open, which we appreciated. We were happy to wait the extra 10 minutes. But just when we thought everything was sorted, the manager (or perhaps the owner) suddenly approached us and, rather rudely, asked us to leave. To make matters worse, she made an unnecessary comment in Italian, implying we were only sitting down to order cappuccinos, which felt dismissive and unfair.

I understand that people can have bad days, but when you let personal frustrations spill over into how you treat your customers, it’s a problem. We were polite and willing to wait, but the unprofessional attitude from management left a sour taste in what should have been a simple,...

I ordered a pizza to enjoy it on the beach, just two minutes from the restaurant. At the first bite, I found it a bit cold and the spicy sausage also cold. And when I touched the bottom of the pizza it was cold. It was probably defrosted or prepared in advance with a quick blast in the oven but not made at the minute. So I came back to the restaurant with the pizza and ask if I could have something else in exchange. The waitress/manager told me that it was cold because I walked 2 minutes to the beach and if I wanted to order a salad or something else, it would be at my expense (a scooter takes more time to deliver a pizza and it’s still hot) Really scandalous. You’ve stated I also had a ‘hamburger sandwich’ which i did not, I only had a tiramisu and a cappuccino which arrived in a paper cup instead of a mug, which isn’t an issue but it felt slightly lazy, tasted good though! however if you’re going to defrost a tiramisu it should be defrosted in the fridge, and for a lot longer than 10 minutes. there is no reason why i should’ve paid for both a frozen and hot tiramisu. it arrived in plastic packaging also, which gives me a feeling it was...
