it was a bad and rude experience in trapani… the first time the staff forgot to even bring drinks, then we wanted to take back what we didn't eat… talked about it many times to the staff, they said ok, but then we can Not because the manager or the owner they didn’t understand us, but why didn’t he say that he didn’t understand ... there really was a lot of food. in fact we paid first and they brought us the order and it was our mistake…. we should leave this place early because how quickly we drink even drinks… The octopus was overcooked, with a huge amount of salt and too dry, no taste, other food was ok, but there are many great restaurants here. finally the owner or manager was very rude to us. We ate fabulous dinner two consecutive nights. The fried mix seafood platter was very good with fresh ingredients. The grilled squid is the BEST we tasted in US, EU and Asia Pacific, better than the scuba dive site restaurants, very fresh and grilled to perfection. Cous cous was done well too. Grilled swordfish was very tasty and fresh. Even bread with dip and house white wine complemented perfectly. Yes they use plastic fork and knife and disposable cups but these are immaterial in presence of great food and warm fast service. Do let them know if you want food altogether OR dish by dish. Lovely service crew! We have a few translations below, as this is taste worthy for all.

Abbiamo mangiato una cena favolosa due sere consecutive. Il piatto misto di pesce fritto era molto buono con ingredienti freschi. Il calamaro alla griglia è il MIGLIORE che abbiamo assaggiato negli Stati Uniti, nell'UE e nell'Asia del Pacifico, migliore dei ristoranti del sito per immersioni subacquee, molto fresco e grigliato alla perfezione. Anche il cous cous era fatto bene. Il pesce spada alla griglia era molto gustoso e fresco. Anche il pane con la salsa e il vino bianco della casa si abbinavano perfettamente. Sì, usano forchetta e coltello di plastica e bicchieri usa e getta, ma questi sono irrilevanti in presenza di ottimo cibo e servizio rapido e caloroso. Sbagliare è umano, perseverare è diabolico

Decidiamo di andare a mangiare qualcosa di veloce per cena in questo ristorante che propone piatti dello Street food siciliano. Ci fanno subito accomodare visto che non c’era fila (al contrario della sera prima quando passeggiando avevamo notato questo posto proprio dalla lunga fila di persone che attendevano). Ordiniamo una porzione piccola di calamari fritti, un tagliere di fritto (che secondo molte testimonianze su Tripadvisor è sufficiente per due persone) e due birre. Dopo 30 minuti circa di attesa vediamo che due tavoli arrivati dopo di noi ricevono i loro primi piatti. Fatta notare la cosa all’unico cameriere, scusandosi ci dice che ha perso la nostra comanda. Pazienza penso io, sono cose che possono capitare. Ordiniamo di nuovo. Dopo pochi minuti il cameriere torna con un cous cous di pesce: noi ci guardiamo basiti (avevamo ordinato due soli piatti per la seconda volta solo pochi attimi prima) e gli facciamo notare l’errore. E notiamo che va alla ricerca nei vari tavoli di chi aveva ordinato questo cous cous. Passano altri dieci minuti (siamo a circa 45 min di attesa da quando ci siamo seduti) ed arrivano i nostri piatti: un calamaro piccolo e un fritto misto piccolo. Noi gli facciamo notare che c’è nuovamente un errore: il fritto misto piccolo doveva essere un tagliere fritto (molto più grande, e sufficiente per due persone). A questo punto ci fa notare sul suo taccuino quello che lui aveva annotato (per la seconda volta!) ed in maniera insistente ci fa notare che l’errore era nostro. Non mi è mai capitato di vedere un tale atteggiamento scontroso ed arrogante da parte di un cameriere. Inutile discutere con una persona che tratta i clienti con questo modo. Ci siamo alzati di corsa per andare alla cassa a pagare le due birre ed il piccolo fritto di calamari (lasciato nel piatto) ed andare via. La signora alla cassa (la responsabile ?), ignara di cosa fosse successo, ha ascoltato le nostre lamentele e ci ha offerto le due birre.
