Ristorante Strascinasale — Restaurant in Trapani

17/09/2025 me and my friend had a dinner there. We looked at the Google maps review and by photo decided to order an octopus with sweet onion, firstly, the size of the octopus was much smaller than it was supposed to be, they just cut the tentacles which were badly overcooked and tasteless. Then to cover up the failure of the first dish we ordered shrimps cocktails which beat the whole disappointment at the end. The size of the shrimps was ridiculously small and it was mixed with the lettuce on mayo sause.

The service was even worse, they refused to our wish to sit closer to the sea because we were only two but the table was served for four people (not served), but one couple came and just sat at this table and they gently re-served for two. We came to have a dinner, restaurant was 70% empty. We were waiting for some time after we came before our order was taken. In the middle of the dinner, waitress in a quiet rude manner said to me to change my sit because bigger lady who came after us was not comfortable sitting at my back. At the time when there were couple other empty tables. They could arrange better sitting. Our food was delivered after 2 tables (who came after us) were served. This is so far the best restaurant experience in three days of our vacation in Trapani. The atmosphere was super cute, with a beautiful sunset on the horizon. The service is quick and very friendly. We had a great starter of sea salad an fried squid. My main dish was spaghetti with sea food and my wife had a great slice of sword fish. This is exactly what I use to dream of Sicily when u am home in the Netherlands. Carpe Diem and enjoy every single hour...
