The worst Service I have ever experienced in a Restaurant!!! Waited about 20 minutes in front of the Restaurant for a 2 person table. In the meantime 4 Tables got free. The waiter was waiting inside doing nothing, so when he came outside, I asked him, if we can take a seat on one of the free tables, as we already waited standing 20 minutes. He looked at me and said: „If you are in a hurry than leave“, turned around an went back straight into the restaurant. If thats how you treat your customers, then you should close your restaurant!!! Such disrespect and conceited behavior is a shame and should not happen to any guest! I strongly recommend choosing one of the other restaurants in this area, there are plenty and they all treat you friendly! Dont waist your time with such disrespectful service, nobody deserves this for just...

They have a beautiful view on the living street, the atmosphere is really welcoming as a tourist. When arriving and taking a bar table, the staff offered a more comfortable, smaller table after noting that we are here for dinner, not only drinks.

The staff kept being polite and kind the whole time, even introduced the strenghts of their restaurant, and noticed without question that we would share the appetizer, and these small gestures went all along our stay.

The food was excellent, with decent portions, not too big to get uncomfortably full, but not too small either.

The prices are a little bit on the strong side, but it isn’t surprising based on the location and quality of the service and food.

If you are looking for a dinner, which would crown your stay in Trieste, i would 100% recommend PURO. Excellent on...

I ordered tortelli and guess what I got? Only 5 PIECE OF PASTA. Yes, you didn’t hear wrong. I bet they counted them. If you wonder the taste, it was good but definitely not worth 19€.

In the other hand, we ordered Filetto di Angus Irlanda al Grill for 28€ which was just a little piece of steak with some vegetables and it was also overpriced for what you get.

No wonder why they lost their Michelin Star.

If you want to get scammed, highly recommended.

Great experience. A beautiful location with remarkably nice service! The food was excellent. With no explicit vegan options on the menu we simply asked what they could do & were told to wish for anything we wanted. I got the (probably) best sautéed vegetables I’ve had so far as well as delicious,spaghetti pomodoro with aubergine’. Thanks for a delightful evening :)

Amazing food and wine. We found this restaurant by a chance, however the food was so good that we came back for one more dinner during our long weekend stay in Triest. Tiramisu cream was the best I've tried in Italy - it has yellow colour = it's full of egg yolks (not that white tiramisu tourist trap you can find in many places). I also recommend fritto misto.

Amazing food and wine. We found this restaurant by a chance, however the food was so good that we came back for one more dinner during our long weekend stay in Triest. Tiramisu cream was the best I've tried in Italy - it has yellow colour = it's full of egg yolks (not that white tiramisu tourist trap you can find in many places). I also recommend fritto misto.
