Worst restaurant of my trip to Italy. I wish I had read the reviews before going in. Right from the start, the bread they served was completely dry, not fresh at all, and they had the nerve to charge us 4 € for just a few bites taken from two tiny slices. Ridiculous.
The main dishes were even worse: the veal had a gelatinous, unpleasant texture, the salad was basically just the hard core of an iceberg lettuce with soft, old tomatoes. The pesto pasta was watery at the bottom of the plate, the pesto wasn’t fresh and literally tasted like water. On top of that, the pasta wasn’t even mixed properly — the middle part had plain, sauce-less noodles.
Looking around, we noticed other customers didn’t even finish half their plates and no one seemed happy with their experience. To make things worse, the service was awful: staff who clearly didn’t want to be there, rude attitude, and zero customer care.
Honestly, a terrible experience from start to finish. Avoid this place at all costs. I wouldn’t recommend...

Read moreWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal in this family run restaurant. Their mother had cooked her famous pasta dish and it was recommended to me. I loved it! It was homemade, with tagliatelle cooked inside an aubergine (melanzane) with tomato/meat sauce and cooked in the oven-fabulous! My husband had the carbonara which was delicious too. The wines were reasonably priced, the food was delicious and the Tropeana salad was full of flavour too. Definitely worth stopping off and “complimenti...
