Ristorante Pizzeria Porta Nova — Restaurant in Tropea

We went there for pizza, I ordered Tipici- with courgette, cherry tomatoes and very popular here- Cipola- a red onion. That pizza was delicious. My hubby ordered a mortadella and pistacchios pizza with a big chunk of mozarella on it- it was absolutely amazing :). One star because food was great. If you want to wait one hour for your appetizer to come out and then an additional hour for your entree to come out then this is the place for you. Kids fell asleep at table and the manager didnt care. Could be because we are American. They added tip to the bill.... which no other restaurant has done. For a 300 euro bill....she said she would take 10 off for us because of kitchen mix-up. If you are american...with a big group...and...

Experience not so good, went in 6 people, order came wrong, one pizza came without prosciutto so they took it back and just put some on top, was supposed to go before the " Forno" , not after. Also a Gamberoni on Griglia, pretty expensive, came with only 5 of them, and nothing else. Also a Pasta with Vongole ( spaghetti), came like they were short on pasta. Disappointing if you think at the expensive bill at the end. Not really...
