This place truly is a little bit of paradise. We dined on an adorable and carefully decorated terrace that is located right on the beach.

We were greeted by a breathtaking sunset and a live singer and keyboard player. Our waitress was delightful, polite and extremely professional. She spoke English and was attentive to our every needs.

We also enjoyed the food a lot. Do not be fooled by the apparent plainness of the Penne Maito (which basically is pasta with a tomato sauce) - it is truly a simple dish that is executed to perfection and that I have found to be exquisite. The fish, which we did not have, looked amazing and fresh.

I therefore highly recommend this place, in which we had one of the best evenings of our stay in Italy. We will definitely make sure...

Walked in with my wife and asked to rent a sun bed. We were told they are fully booked.

We then went next door (Roberto) and were able to rent a space and they were way more accommodating.

After walking around in the beach, I noticed a lot of vacant spaces so I went back to understand why we were not able to rent from Maito.

Here is the explanation:

1. some people have seasonal rents so they have limited availability
2. they suggest booking in advance and not walking in
3. it’s only cabanas that are for rent. Sun beds are only for particular guests and not one off (even if they appear empty as in the pictures)

Not here to decide if the explanation is true or not. I’m sharing for tourists like me who like to walk in to not be...

Siamo stati a cenare in questo ristorante che c’è stato consigliato. L’ambiente e la posizione del tavolo era molto buona e l atmosfera piacevole. C’era musica, dj set, la gente che ballava e si divertiva, che creavano una bella situazione, ecc. cibo veramente buono! Lista dei vini molto ampia e interessante!! Da questo punto di vista consigliato! La pecca è stata l’accoglienza a 360 gradi. A partire dal fatto che volevamo avvisare del ritardo , poiché c’era stato detto di dover arrivare puntuali sennò ci avrebbero tolto il tavolo, e nn rispondevano per comunicare del ritardo visto che non si trovava posto per la macchina. Al parcheggio che , appunto, non avevano posto per noi, quando poi sono arrivati altri macchinoni e per loro il posto c’era…. Fino All’accoglienza al ristorante , totalmente assente. Anche semplicemente per avvisare che fossimo arrivati. Abbiamo dovuto più volte sollecitare per sederci (1h dopo ) al tavolo , molto dopo rispetto all’orario della prenotazione. Comprensibile il fatto che fosse weekend, tutto prenotato , ecc, ma un po’ più di organizzazione sarebbbe gradita e consigliata , anche perché il primo turno dovrebbe essere avvisato che c’è un secondo e quindi invitati a dover liberare il tavolo entro l’orario della seguente prenotazione , già avvisandoli delle condizioni durante la fase di prenotazione , onde evitare malcontenti. Invece le persone rimanevano sedute prese dalla situazione e ballo /canto ecc. comprensibile , ma vi consiglio di migliorare questo aspetto perché oggi è fondamentale garantire un certo tipo di servizio, specie in un posto del genere, di livello, anche in base alla fascia di prezzo..ed è un peccato perdersi così… Tuttavia location molto bella, ambiente e persone piacevoli, camerieri gentili, cibo e proposta vino molto buoni! Stra consiglio la prosciutto di Parma (pizza) = incredibile! ingredienti eccellenti, un crudo che si scioglieva in bocca (noi senza pomodoro, così da esaltare molto di più i sapori degli...
