I felt I had to share this as it really frustrated and disappointed me. On arrival at the chalet next door, where we were to stay for 10 days, We had 3 sandwiches which were ok, and asked whether our youngest could have some plain pasta with a little oil. Half a bowl arrived, which was fine, but clearly a half portion of simple pasta. He wanted some more, and it duly arrived. However the bill showed 2 x 13 euros! 26 euros for some plain pasta. Really great food and service. Arrived just before 7pm for our booking and were seated promptly. Our orders were taken by 7.05pm. Portions were large; and they have a homey varied menu. A lot of the reviews mention raclette and fondue, however there is a lot more to the menu - the lamb shank was great, as was the seabass, the meat plate, and venison and blueberry pasta. I had a wonderful experience at this mountain restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. What I loved most is that this place is open and friendly to everyone – children, dogs, and families are all warmly welcomed.
