Luce — Restaurant in Varese

Stelar services! We chose Luce for our wedding and everything that we hoped for came true! The place is part of Villa Panza with the gardens providing the ideal background for a wedding ceremony or photoshoot activity. The restaurant itself is cozy and the food absolutely fantastic. Everybody was very polite, professional, from the planning phase of our wedding to the very end. Special mention should go to Valentina, Maddalena and Andrea who have our gratitude for the services they provided especially when the weather was not in our favor. All our guests were left with the best impressions by the location and the services. The restaurant even offered an animateur service in order to keep the children entertained. Absolutely recommended and if we could give more than 5 stars we would definitely do! Grazie tutti!...

Great location, amazing service, and delicious food. I ordered the chef’s menu, so I was open to anything they brought. I had tuna wrapped in pork with a cream sauce, mackerel with a confit, creme of zucchini soup, truffle risotto, chicken and garden vegetables, and a cobbler with peach ice cream. It was all amazing!! I saw some other reviews stating that they didn’t like the service, but for me it was exceptional—even though I did not ask or require it, the waiter did everything he could to translate and explain all the dishes for me; I could even see him looking up words and practicing before he came to my table. We arrived at noon intending to eat something with the family and then visit the park. The friendly man at the entrance of the park directed us to the restaurant, which was open. We were then however told that the restaurant was fully booked, even though nearly all the tables were free.
