Taeko Ramen — Restaurant in Varese

A disappointing experience. Unfortunately the authentic Japanese taste got lost somewhere.

My Tantamen soup was a little warmer than luke warm, not how I prefer my ramen soup. The taste was good though. My daughter had the miso ramen soup and it didn't taste anything like I know miso soup. It was more like a vegetable soup with almost raw veggies with a European broth and Japanese ramen. She did not like it at all. We also had twice Gyoza which were good, the first once a bit cool though.

All in all it was okay for an Asian restaurant, but for authentic Japanese I expect more than a female name and...

Overall experience was nice. Since the resturant just recently opened still lacking many decorations aspect. I did enjoy the ramen broth (very rich and dense) but not the ramen (the noodles) itself. The noodles were cut into tiny pieces (could be due to using instant ones) and when grabbing them to eat, its not a good thing to have tiny noodle pieces. Ramen noodles are supposed to be long noodle piece in the bowl. I would wait for them to improve over time and will go back to give...

Autentico ristorante giapponese. Prezzi medio alti, ma nella media di un qualsiasi ristorante in città. Porzioni giuste, si esce sazi senza sentirsi strapiei. Ottime anche le bevande. Abbiamo preso due gin tonic allo yuzu, a testa, e per la prima volta, non ho avuto alcun tipo di postumi a livello di stomaco. Consiglio come antipasto la cotoletta con salsa tartara e insalata di cavolo (non ricordo il nome), così come i takoyaki, polpette di polpo alla piastra. Ho provato due tipi di ramen, di carne e di pesce e mi è sono piaciuti molto. Ottimo come dessert la coppa al macha, penso che sia il dolce che più merita a livello di porzione e bontà. In due abbiamo speso 110€. Due antipasti, due ramen, due dolci, due caffè, una bottiglia di acqua grande, e 4 gin tonic. Sinceramente non capisco i commenti negativi sulle porzioni e sui prezzi. Questo non è un all you can eat e la qualità si paga. Le porzioni sono da persone normali e non da fenomeni da circo che devono mangiare chilate di cibo per € 20. In ogni caso è sempre pieno, quindi bisogna sempre prenotare. Il servizio è veloce e se il ristorante è pieno, sono previsti due turni. Quindi se prenotate entro le 20.00, aspettatevi un servizio molto rapido, in quanto il vs tavolo, sicuramente sarà occupato nuovamente. A noi non ha dato fastidio anche perché dovevamo rincasare presto. Non aspettatevi comunque di trascorrere l'intera serata...
