Adriatico Mar — Restaurant in Venice

You gotta checkout Adriatico Mar if you get the chance. One of my best meals and experiences while in Venice. A small place with extremely friendly service. You would never know how good this place is just by looking in from the outside. My friend from Venice recommended it and I thought I was at the wrong place at first, because it just appears to be a random little corner coffee shop. But looks can be deceiving, because this place was awesome! The cutting board put together for me was incredible. Peaches with Feta, arugala and a lemon oil on top. Selection of veggies and peppers soaked in oil. Boiled pig made from random parts. I also got a prosecco with mashed peaches in it....

We tried this place our last night in Venice before moving on to other parts of our vacation. We never stopped thinking about this food.

We loved it so much in fact, that on our last day before our flight home, we made a special bus trip back into the city to have the food and wine again.

The food is made like art! The owners source the ingredients locally, and the taste can not be matched. They remembered us from a week before- and the experience is so personal.

Recommendation from a Veneziani. What a place! We were welcomed into this charming little nook, smiles all round. After an especially hot day he offered something refreshing and local, we were presented with two whites wines, one from the dolomites and the other not far from Venice. Exceptional!
