Dolce Vita Venezia — Restaurant in Venice

What a wonderful little neighborhood bar. We went there almost every morning for coffee and a pastry over our one month stay just around the corner. The coffee is perfectly prepared and the pastry as fresh as can be. And…(and this is a BIG “and”) the two women who work there will absolutely brighten your day. Elisa and Ina are so friendly, fun, helpful, and efficient that you will leave there feeling great, and having had a delicious breakfast. What a great way to start your day. Oh, and the afternoon offering of fresh and varied cicchetti and spritzes is just what the doctor ordered after a day of sightseeing. Exceptional bar, for everyone's taste. The menu features a range of delicious fast food international cuisine that is to the satisfaction of all customers here. I enjoy nicely prepared grilled sandwiches, a large selection of sandwiches based on roast pork, ham and cheese, tuna, they also have a very tasty pizza. In this bar, if you find yourself near it, you will not be disappointed with the rich offer or service. The guys are professional sweet and friendly. I tried good croissants, brioche and parfait. I also enjoyed the flavors of the excellent traditional Spritz Aperol. Great cappuccino always delights me in Dolcevita. Everything good but the prices. I swear they don’t post prices because they charge locals and tourists differently. 2.30 for an espresso when everywhere else we’ve been paying 1-1.20 and 3 for a cappuccino where everywhere else (in Italy and Venice) it’s 1.70. I saw a bunch of local cops here which is good, but no way they’d pay these prices. 3.50 for a donut? Very likely two sets of prices and tourists don’t realize they are getting double charged.
