We were passing by as we headed to the San Pantalon church during the daytime, and the atmosphere inside looked wonderful. We grabbed some drinks. There was a gentleman who was both attentive and polite. When we considered having something to eat in the evening, we remembered this bar and decided to come back, even if it meant taking a long walk.
This time there was a lady, and she was also quite polite. We ordered different small snacks at the entrance and sat at a table at the back. Read moreThe place was almost empty this evening. Which I found strange indeed (even though it is a bit secluded) because food was great, the owner friendly and the feel very warm. There was nothing wrong about it.
I was given recomendations on cicchetti. Can't tell how authentic these were but they were assembled right in front of me which I didn't see much in Venice. The serving was exceptional. I really appreciated the attention. And music!
