A nice family run place located in central venice. We were seated at a table right away and the owner who also happened to be the server was very nice and accommodating. There is lots of seating at this place so a high chance that you can be seated right away.
We ordered several dishes and it came up super fast which is a huge bonus. We ordered the chicken sandwich. I wasn’t too pleased with it as it felt like a cold cut in bread. We got the caprese salad. It was both aesthetically pleasing and fulfilling to the stomach. We also ordered a few dishes of the pasta with shrimp and oysters dish. Lastly, penne pasta with meat sauce.
For dessert we ordered 2 plates of tiramisu and it was probably the best dish we ordered. It was really soft, creamy and had just the right amount for texture.
Overall, I would recommend everyone to check this place out and if I do come back to Venice, this would be the first spot I...
Read moreThis place was absolutely incredible! I’m a huge foodie and so a lot of research was put into picking an authentic Italian restaurant and wow did this exceed my expectations! The chef and owner had a lot of his culinary training in Naples and is an Italian native. He and his family were so nice, friendly and helpful; making us food from scratch, telling us the best places to eat, giving us local tips, and ensuring the experience was the best for us. Probably one of the best lasagnas that I’ve had, straight from his garden, and THE BEST tiramisu I’ve EVER had (and I’ve had a lot of tiramisu). The price was so great and I honestly could not recommend this place enough. Especially if you are looking for a true Italian experience. Plan to come back again before leaving to try one of their pizzas as well (I’ve heard from locals this is one of the best places to get food pizza in the city). Can’t...
Read moreThe place is okay, but the 4.8 average is way too much. I'd give it a 4 star review, but I hoped for more... We ate a carbonara and a pizza. The carbonara was really good and the pizza was ok. However the pizza was delivered to the place from somewhere else! Also the prices was quite high. Carbonara was 12€ and margarita was 10€ which were fair, but any other pizza is 15€, and most of the plates are also more expensive. The portion of spaghetti also isn't very big. The prices of drinks are crazy! 4€ for a soft drink like a coke, and more for alcohol. The good thing was there was no coperto. In conclusion, the place was okay, but it's definitely no "hidden gem" and the rating is too high. The staff...
