L'archivio — Restaurant in Venice

We were greeted by a friendly woman who served us two delicious paninis. The ambient is ok, just for a quick bite and then back to the road.

We asked for a glass of water (which we had no problem asking for in other stablishments) in order to take some pills and were forced to buy a €2 bottle of water instead, so don't even bother asking for a bicchiere d'aqua. There's free WiFi and a clean restroom if you need to use them.

We were charged for two €3.5 glasses of wine while the board clearly stated that one of the glasses we had was €3. It's not the money I'm complaining about but the feeling of being ripped off just because we were tourist. Most of the prices are not stated (specially the paninis and cichettis) so ask before ordering (paninis are €5.50 each).

Spectacular!! Our first time in Venice. We’re celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary and whilst every tourist review will tell you to visit the Rialto Bridge or St Marco Square, (which you should for all of 5 mins) if you want to experience true Italian hospitality then this is the place to be.

Music is great, venue is great and the location is great. Prepare to spend the afternoon and into the evening as the Cicchetti is second to none here!

🍷✨ Enjoying a delightful wine tasting experience in Venice with my best friend at L’Archivio! The ambiance is perfect for unwinding, and the tapas here are a seafood lover’s paradise. Even though I’m not much of a seafood enthusiast, I must admit, the quality is impressive. The prices are reasonable, making it a must-visit spot for wine and food enthusiasts.
