Popped in for a late breakfast/early lunch. I am glad I brought my appetite because I wanted to eat every bite. La Bottigilia has such a modern, laid back vibe from the music playing to the decor. The staff is friendly and quick with the recommendations. We split the Soppresa (pumpkin cream, Asiago and artichokes…Yes, vegetarians and even meat eaters will love this). And we split the sandwich of the day, which had the most unique combination of flavors. And the sandwiches were made with crusty focaccia. We also had americanos but I’m sure we wouldn’t have been disappointed if we had gone with wine. Get yourself to this cafe, your stomach will thank you. And the need to have that perfect sampling of Italian foods while on holiday will more...

Wow. Quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever eaten.

There's no menu, just a collection of bottles and a "sandwich station," in which you tell them what you want in your sandwich. I didn't catch the inked gentleman's name that crafted my sandwich but he is a true artist. Bravo! He corrected us on our order, trust him. The Sandwich was about 4 Euro and large; made on Focaccia. The wine was about 3.50 Euro a glass and from a great selection. There is also beer and cordial selections to choose from and you can purchase wines by the bottle. This is a must stop location. English was spoken well. It is a small location but well worth standing to eat and drink here. Can't...

Place to be! Place to eat and place to drink. Spot is really cute, typical piazetta with view on a canal...calm,peaceful and centrally located.

The team is fresh and passionate about their mission: Offer pleasure through authentic qualitiy ....I enjoyed an excellent selection of local and thoughtful wines and prosecci...every bottle is chosen with respect and love for the product.

The sandwiches are a dream! ( Simple food that stands out among real restaurants).

I am very peaky and difficult with food and the places I chose to have it but here it is just gorgeous, the team is kind and welcoming...advises well and shares their great food with us tourists! Thank You La...

This was one of the best paninis I have ever had. I got the vegan panini (and I’m not strictly vegan or vegetarian) of roasted seitan, beetroot salad, caramelized onions, and artichoke. I ordered at the bar and was lucky to snag a table outside right along the canal. The panini was made fresh to order. The bread was perfectly toasted and so hot and fluffy. Sandwich was really flavorful. I was really impressed. I’m thinking of going back just for that sandwich alone with my few days here in Venice. I grabbed a spritz bianco for my drink for 3.5 euros. Really light on the alcohol, but decent for the price.

Best sandwich I’ve ever had. This place is a gem that I feel bad knowing about not being a local. Better than Antico Forno (if you know you know). This is a spot you need to plan for any time you plan on going. We waited about 45 minutes but it was well worth it. We were able to grab a table outside and enjoy the weather and canal. We ordered the Local Salami and the Prosciutto Crudo. Both were incredible. Fresh ingredients and the bread was amazing. If you can stand the wait, you need to try this place. It’s the best you’ll ever have.
