The place was amazing. We were walking outsider the place, we were coming from the far San Marco piazza (haha) and we really liked the cozy atmosphere of this trattoria. The first thing that I saw, and I really liked on that place, was the day's menu, that was handwritten. When we entered, a friendly lady welcomed us and helped us a lot to decide which dishes to choose. Talliatelle with white beef was an amazing starter and next the second dished with roasted pork or roasted chicken (it was rooster) with a red sauce (it included cornflower, orange zest), accompanied with vegetables (carrots, choux de Bruxelles) a and a small portion of potato puree, they were all amazing. Read moreEasily one of the best trattorias we’ve ever been to. They serve only meat by choice, with a few vegetarian options.
We had: – Carpaccio as a shared antipasto – Gnocchi with goat cheese and honey, and pappardelle with duck ragù as primi – Pork with vegetables, mashed potatoes and mustard sauce, and Venetian-style liver with polenta as secondi – Espresso and panna cotta with caramel sauce as dolci – All accompanied by a red wine from Trentino, recommended by the staff.
All courses were authentic and cooked to perfection, with rich and refined flavors and very satisfying portion sizes (come hungry and prepared if you’re planning to go for the full course menu!). The interior is cozy and welcoming, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. Thank you for a truly memorable meal and experience – we’ll be back whenever...

Within a few minutes after we ordered, we felt a horde of mosquito attacking us. It was so uncomfortable after 15 min, we considered leaving. They did not have space to move us inside since those tables were reserved. Also the maitre d' seems apathetic to our plight "with those mosquitos are everwhere in Venice". However, a restaurant has to use some mitigation efforts to make their customers comfortable like using a fans, remote standing water in flower pots, and offer customers bug repellent. We were in &...
