Having dinner at Ristorante Oniga was a wonderful experience, the pasta was delicious, workers were freindly, and the atmosphere had a traditional feel to it. I absolutely recommened this restaurant!
The food there was absolutely scrumptious, the perfect amount of food, we ordered a spaghetti vongole and spaghetti with pesto sauce and shrimps, the pasta was perfectly al dente, the clams from the spaghetti vongole had a very flavourful oceanic salty flavour. While the other pasta, spaghetti with pesto sauce and shrimps, had a very rich pesto sauce, and was really good combined with the shrimps, on top of that, the plating of the dishes was exquiste and elegant. And to finish off this perfect dinner, i ordered a lemon sorbet as for my desert, the taste was chilling in a tasty way and had a little pinch of lemon, adds another level of freshness.
Not only that, the service of this restaurant was pleasant, the workers and people there were very nice, they were helpful and hard-working and smart! they had great smile on their faces and we all were happy.
The atmosphere had a very italian traditional feeling to it, the architecture and lighting was wonderful, made me and my family felt satisfied.
In conclusion, i recommened coming to Ristorante Oniga, delicious food, amazing service and a wonderful atmosphere. Although the price of this dinner was quite expensive, it was very worth it. I absolutely recommened coming to this...

Edit: We sat down as we wanted to order something being super starved. I went to the toilet as I simply did want to wash my hands before the meal but when arrived back to the table my friend told me she did not find anything suitable for dinner (which is hard to predict before reviewing the menu, obviously). Once you reached us and unpleasantly asked for paying for the toilet, I wanted to hand over 4 euro, having coins in my hand and literally giving it to you - so no, I didn't come there only to "use the toilet" :) The way you demanded the money treating me almost like a thief (while my intentions were clear and I expressed it while telling u that my friend preferred to eat pizza that is not served here as it turned out AFTER digging into menu) was offensive. It could have been managed in an absolutely different way, there is the point.
One more thing: how could we know that you are not "just a pizzeria" if we don't review menu that was not available in front of the restaurant?:) nobody is obliged to be forecaster :) moreover, how is it possible that I only wanted to use a restroom if I wanted to hand over 4 euros immediately after your offensive waitress came to us accusing us of just trying to use a restroom? it seems quite...
Read moreDon't get fooled by the reviews and the photos. We thought it would be a nice place to sit in to have a (not cheap) glass of wine and a light meal with my partner. The place looks good, but the waiter was more like a salesman, rather than a polite person. First of all he didn't let us choose a table and then a bit impatient with us whilst reading the menu. We picked a decent wine and he told us we should go with a full bottle not a glass (as that's a better deal), to which we then agreed. We then decided to not order any food to accompany the wine at that time and the waitor said we had to eat something as well and that we couldn't just have wine as this is a restaurant (not sure any restaurants have this rule but apparently a €40 bottle of wine isnt enough). So we said no problem, we just wouldn't order anything. Then the guy suddenly said okay, but we have to pay for the water we ordered (like we wanted to run away or something). We went in to pay and he came back to us saying actually we can drink wine only if we like, to which we then politely said no. We payed for the water and knew we were very happy we didn't have anything from here. There are plenty of better restaurants around that make you...
