We stopped there three times a week. No problems the first two times. The waitress in the morning the first was kind and pleasant, as was her colleague in the afternoon It's a shame about the last iced coffee of the stay. A vulgar cold coffee with ice cubes was undrinkable. The worst was the response from the waitress who claimed it was a real iced coffee.Also the waitress seemed to have lost her smile or left it in the locker room after the weekend. It is the only place in all of Venice where they serve iced coffee without milk. I just needed to use toilet for my kids and decided to buy a couple of coffees and cakes. First problem, "sorry, can't pay with credit card unless is €20 eur or more" - I don't care, charge me more if needed, but let me pay iwth credit card. Plus, there are not many working ATM's around. Second, went outside and I heard "sorry, other price" but I eaited outside 5 min and nobody attended me! I was willing to pay extra to be outside. Third, after being pissed, I left without leaving tips and waitresses started to insult me in italian when I left, but my wife was still inside and lived in Italy and she understood. You treat bad your customers...

A nice little spot to have a drink. It is a little off from the main tourist centers but the square is still full of activity. There is a variety of drinks at good prices and you can get a small beer, 200cl, if you just want a little break. The main issue with all outdoor seating in Italy is the smokers, this is why I tend to avoid stopping at such places, luckily they all sat far but we didn't stay for a second drink to be safe. This is a country issue which I hope will change soon so I can stop for a drink more often during my next...
