La Pagoda — Restaurant in Venice

We had a truly wonderful evening at La Pagoda! As a family of four (two adults and two children), we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive, and they made us feel completely at ease.

The food was outstanding — the fillet steak was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and full of flavour, and the desserts were just heavenly. Our children also loved their meals, which were beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. It’s rare to find a restaurant that balances fine dining with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, but La Pagoda does exactly that.

The setting itself is lovely — elegant yet cosy — and you can really feel the care and pride that goes into both the service and the food. Everything about the evening felt special, from the pace of the meal to the attention to detail.

We have been to this restaurant for the first time, the reason we chose it was because of the beautiful ambiance and great reviews. The hostess was nice to us and she guided us through the menu (which was half local, half oriental - she explained everything in detail and quickly, which for us as we don't know ourselves around was a bit tricky as we couldn't remember what she said). We told her that we want typical seafood and something which is specific for this place. We ordered a typical venetian plate as antipasti to share, the portions are very small so make sure to order more if you want to share. The pasta dishes were very disappointing. We went there because of my sons birthday and he loves sushi. They start by saying we are fully booked without asking if we had reservation. Not very welcoming. The menu is not in english but they did describe it and then one of the server spell coke all over my purse and dress, she did say sorry but she was new and did make a mistake that is okey. Usually if things happen like this they offer a drycleaning or some discount of the food or one drink or just sorry from the boss. We got nice food, and service was okey but lots misunderstanding didnt got drink which we ordered or got 2 of what we already got and desert for the birtdayboy we needed to pay but we where happy that they...
