If you have any standard about real Italian cuisines, avoid this place. Not expensive, but crappy food quality.
Don't get me wrong, they serve food quickly here - even a bit too quick. The kitchen area is smaller than your hotel room. Yet, every dish could be served within 15 minutes to so many tables with 2 dudes in the kitchen. It's like magic! Just like the "ding" from the microwave!
Yeah if you don't get the sacarsam - food is pre-made here.
My lasagna is cold in the middle and tastes exactly like the cheap frozen one I bought from supermarket. The only "good" thing is the generous portion, thanks Lidl.
The pizza is less horrific, but still bad. Vegs are hard and uncooked on the top, cheese are tasteless. The only good thing is that the pre-made dough is "baked" in a slightly better, commercial oven, making it not the WORST dough I have ever had (better than dollar store frozen pizza).
At checkout, the staff dared to ask me "How was everything?"
Thank you for the gesture, but what could I say? He might not be the owner of the place, but he clearly knew what the "restaurant" is doing. I responded with "They are okay".
€2 per person is charged as service...... for unpacking the food and reheating them?
Now that I see that the owner/ manager actually replies to Google Review and would offer people to come and get their money back if they didn't like the dining experience - I hope they would offer to refund me as well.
I also noticed that a lot of 5 star reviews come from tourists from U.S.A. or Canada. I know those places so don't blame them. But I would encourage them to try on some real italian food to fix your taste buds.
I appreciate this restaurant opening up till late. But please, give yourself some respect and live up to the real...
Read moreMy experience at this restaurant was absolutely horrendous. I sat at my table for 25 minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff, even though three tables that arrived after my party were taking the order promptly. When I finally managed to get the attention of a waiter by saying “excuse me,” he approached with a disgusted attitude and started shouting at me in Italian. When I politely told him that I didn’t understand Italian, he responded with even more hostility, saying, “You must have to wait, and if you don’t have patience, this is not place.”
At that point, I decided I no longer wanted to dine there, so I apologized and informed him that I would eat elsewhere. His response, He rudely snapped, “We don’t need people to eat here” before aggressively snatching the menus from the table in a completely unacceptable manner.
This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The staff was not only unprofessional but downright rude. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning. Avoid this restaurant at all costs if you value decent service...
Read moreWould highly recommend everyone to come too Madigans, we only spent 2 nights in venice while backpacking, however after trying other restaurants in both venice mainland and centre we came back here both nights for dinner. The staff were very friendly and attentive when it came to helping with any need. The food was incredible, first night I had carbonara and second night I had Seabass, wow. Just amazing. Thank you so much to everyone for making it perfect for myself and my 4 children, whom felt very much included at the table. The wine was amazing too! Pinot Gricio went down a treat :) will defiently be back! Value for money was fantastic, they have there price point perfect especially with the choice of...
