a good place to have dinner in non-island Venice.

huge place with a lot of sitting spots, usually fully packed in the evenings. so you have to wait ~15 minutes to get sited.

digital menus are something i appreciate a lot. photos on the menu and what i’ve received were exactly the same. big variety of dishes makes the menu a bit too complicated but would please different tastes. prices are good equivalent to what you receive.

portions were even bigger than i’ve expected. tuna steak was excellent and it’s the dish i recommend (tiramisu is not worth trying).

service was pretty good. we didn’t wait too long for food and the waiters were attentive to details. unfortunately, you can leave tips...

When I stepped inside, an employee told me to just wait a minute and they will be right back. I wasn’t in any rush so I wasn’t worried, but then she came and gone without saying anything multiple times, leaving me standing there for over 10 minutes. I was finally able to order a mint milkshake when another employee came to retrieve her because a long line started to form. She left my order in the mixer for too long while helping other people, so when I got my drink it was not thick at all and tasted like milk. Not only was the gelato itself tasteless, but we were treated by a really rude staff member. We were just trying to enjoy a delicious gelato, but one rude staff member really upset us. As a tourist learning Italian, I was pleasantly speaking broken Italian, but they told me to speak English like a tourist. It made me wonder if this was racism.
