Osteria al Mercà — Restaurant in Venice

This big and beautiful restaurant is in the middle of the bustling island of Lido, Venice, Italy. The food's amazing and the servers are very friendly, helpful, and they speak English. It is a restaurant that serves mostly seafood but, they do have a few non-seafood choices on the menu. If you find yourself stuck trying to figure out what to order, ask your server, they will gladly help you and, more than likely, you'll love what they recommend, at least that's what happened to me. I wasn't sure what to order and I asked my server, she suggested a pasta with shrimp and... It was super delicious! I do recommend saving a little room for dessert as their desserts are absolutely tasty....

Restaurant look very good and friendly. If you will choose go here, you need time and warm clothes. Food looks very good, starters are served fast, main course takes a time. Our starters arrived within 10 min, main course (fish) in 1,5 hour. It looks there is small kutchen with low capacity, not able to serve visitors in some reasoble time.

I suggest to take warm clothes with you. Inside restaurant was very cold. All people asked waiters to increase temperature. Without sucess. Due to low temperature, nobody spends time for talk with friends, everybody runs out immediatelly after...

I wanted a quick lunch and only had "Spaghetti Vongole" for € 18.- It was a small portion of perfect al dente noodles. But there was almost no parsley, I couldn't feel the garlic or the wine.
