I will enjoy this rewiev, listen dear restaurant.
That you have little baby portion of gnocchi, this i would survive.
Cnochi with crab sauce, at all the taste reminds only opened fisch can, i absolutely did not liked! Gastronomical disaster!!! Dorry, but if you can not make good tasty food, then change cook or recipe!
I gave a chance to this meal but i felt not ok to continue eating, so i immediately return the food to the service with words, that iam sorry, but it tastes like tuna can with good made gnocchi. They toke the food out without saying sorry. They offered me if i want eat anything else instead, i agreed, but time was totally by end of opening times, so we dealed thatno more food for me,
I decided to go smoke one cigarette in front of the terrace before i finish my beer and waiter immediately came to me with words: Sir, you need to pay cafe and beer. I said: i just go to smoke, i come later, when i was smoking and walking along the restaurant, waiters several times thought that iam running away and loudly told me to pay, stalked me! I felt like unwanted quest, so embarrassing!!!! How can they behave like that?
Big point to the end: i came back to restaurant to finish my beer and asked for a bill: here the fun starts!!!
They brang me the bill, contains the gnocchi, but ok, i paid, but at the end i confronted them with my experience, and asked them why they counted the food in the bill? Waiter said ok i will ask anothers, then came another waiter, with words what is the problem?! I confronted him why i paid 22€ for food i didnt eat and didn't like!???
His answer: sir this is famous restaurant! And bla bla bla!
I said , terrible, never again here, totally buttom of gastro service in a coat of nice restaurant! Please avoid this place if you can! We need to stop this...
Read moreThe first half of the meal was very mixed bag. The ambiance of the place was terrific with music that matched the mood and proper lighting, and though the art decor was themed around Venice, the styles were mixed haphazardly which created dissonance. The service was excellent at least. Both timely and well mannered.
The draft beer (Peroni original) was the most sour pale ale I've tried though my companion sung praises of the Prosecco. My Bolognese was overcooked and my companions spaghetti with clams had bits of clam shell floating around the bowl and most of the clams had separated from the shells with how rough they were handled.
Second course was better but still had issues. My companion enjoyed the pork but thought it was a bit bland, while my mixed fried fish was for the most part good. The sardines, octopus, squid, and shrimp were all phenomenal but whatever fish was used for the center piece was unpleasant. Though I don't believe that one was the chefs fault as it looked like the fish was prepared well, just the meat was unpleasant to our palates
The dessert blew dinner out of the water though. The pudding was absolutely brilliant and acted as an absolutely perfect heavy end to the meal and ensures a nice full feeling leaving...
Read moreVery, very, very poor👎. The two of us were seated in the aisle of the kitchen. As we walked, we bumped into the chairs we were assigned to. There were empty seats nearby, but because there were only two of us, all the empty seats were for four people and not in the aisle. We ordered a seafood noodle dish and fries. The bill initially charged us for 24 seats, and the total cost for just two dishes was 149 units of currency, which was outrageous. We told them they made a mistake with the calculation. The seafood noodles were extremely smelly, and several pieces were spoiled. The seafood in the double portion of seafood noodles, priced at 64 units, was not fresh at all. The crab meat was terribly tough. They charged us for 24 seats when there were only two of us. I find it hard to believe that it wasn't intentional. It was an extremely disappointing experience! I do not recommend it at all! It...
