Read moreDefinitely, one, if not, THE highlight of our day in Venice was Ristorante Carpaccio. I've been to Venice so many times, however this is the first time I dined in with no reservations ahead and I did not regret it!
Surprisingly, "far" from the hustle and bustle of the city considering it's just a few walks from St. Mark's Square and the superbusy restaurants and bars of the Lungo Riva! The place itself is so cosy and tranquil to say the least. I love that we dined outside coz we love the sun (very italian i'd say) the view, the seagulls flying above the canal and the bridge behind us where boats and gondolas passed through, all next to you. It was just perfect yet rare in Venice!
The lady who poured our wine was so welcoming and the Signore who served our food was beyond kind, both always smiling. I'd save them both from a fire. We were so grateful of them. Both my sisters and I have 3 different seafood primi piatti and seafood secondi. We love seafood and the dishes did not disappoint at all. Scallops Tagliolini, Clams Spaghetti, Mussels Pappardelle, Fried and Grilled Calamari and Scallops. I know my seafood coz cook a lot of Italian seafood dishes, i know how simple these dishes are and delicious is an understatement to describe the dishes they served us. We had 3 different desserts and they're all homemade and that's a plus! The panna cotta with red berries is still my favorite, still the tiramisù and strawberry cheesecake are a must! End your meal the Italian way, caffè but take your time!
Surprising, relaxing, exquisite food. We really enjoyed this amazing spot, both my sisters and I really had a great time. No doubt, we're going back. We fell in love with this restaurant. Thank you...
Read moreThe food was good but relatively small portion for the money but i hear other places are worse. We ate dinner only once and it was impromptu visit from airport pick up. Very kind service, great flavors. Drinks are too expensive. Food is too expensive. Cappucino was only €5. Got €10 overcharged for something i didnt order but did not mention as i was with my wife and did not want to take away from the good time we had anyway. I adjusted in tip. I would possibly go back but would first try something comparable. For Venice this is one of the more reasonable ones and was a recommendation. Serving a little more food doesnt cost as much as we paid. So that is something i would improve as the owner. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere. They make you feel welcome. And the 10€ was definitely an honest mistake either on their side or mine. Really not sure. We had...
