A Culinary Delight: Ristorante Carpaccio in Venice, Italy Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Carpaccio in the enchanting city of Venice, Italy, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the restaurant's exceptional service, beautiful atmosphere, well-crafted dishes, and the undeniable talent of the chef. Let's start with the service – it was truly excellent. The staff at Ristorante Carpaccio were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. From the moment I was seated, I felt like a valued guest. The waiters were prompt in their service, providing recommendations and ensuring that every need was met. Their attention to detail and genuine passion for their craft added an extra touch of elegance to the overall dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was simply stunning. Set in the heart of Venice, Ristorante Carpaccio boasts a charming and cozy interior that exudes an air of sophistication. The elegant decor, soft lighting, and tasteful furnishings created a romantic ambiance that made the evening even more special. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a memorable celebration, this restaurant offers the perfect setting. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. The dishes at Ristorante Carpaccio are a true testament to the culinary expertise of the chef. Each dish was beautifully presented and showcased a perfect balance of flavors. The attention to detail was evident in every bite. The antipasto misto, in particular, was a masterpiece. It featured an assortment of fresh and vibrant ingredients that delighted both the palate and the eyes. The generosity and freshness of the ingredients were remarkable and demonstrated a commitment to quality and authenticity. The credit for such exceptional cuisine goes to the talented cuoco (chef) at Ristorante Carpaccio. Their expertise and creativity were evident in each dish served. From the rich flavors to the perfect execution, it was clear that the cuoco had a deep understanding of culinary artistry. Their passion for creating memorable dining experiences was evident in every bite. Lastly, I must mention the warm and welcoming presence of Rosario, the owner of Ristorante Carpaccio. He greeted guests with a genuine smile and ensured that everyone felt like part of the family. Rosario's attentiveness to every detail and his commitment to providing an unforgettable dining experience truly set this restaurant apart. In conclusion, Ristorante Carpaccio in Venice, Italy, is a culinary gem that deserves the highest praise. The excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, well-executed dishes, and the talent of the cuoco make this restaurant an absolute must-visit for any food enthusiast. The generosity and freshness of the ingredients, especially in the antipasto misto, are second to none. The warm welcome from Rosario, the owner, adds a personal touch that makes the experience even more memorable. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in the delights of Ristorante Carpaccio when you find yourself in Venice. It is a dining experience that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Definitely, one, if not, THE highlight of our day in Venice was Ristorante Carpaccio. I've been to Venice so many times, however this is the first time I dined in with no reservations ahead and I did not regret it! Surprisingly, "far" from the hustle and bustle of the city considering it's just a few walks from St. Mark's Square and the superbusy restaurants and bars of the Lungo Riva! The place itself is so cosy and tranquil to say the least. I love that we dined outside coz we love the sun (very italian i'd say) the view, the seagulls flying above the canal and the bridge behind us where boats and gondolas passed through, all next to you. It was just perfect yet rare in Venice! The lady who poured our wine was so welcoming and the Signore who served our food was beyond kind, both always smiling. I'd save them both from a fire. We were so grateful of them. Both my sisters and I have 3 different seafood primi piatti and seafood secondi. We love seafood and the dishes did not disappoint at all. Scallops Tagliolini, Clams Spaghetti, Mussels Pappardelle, Fried and Grilled Calamari and Scallops. I know my seafood coz cook a lot of Italian seafood dishes, i know how simple these dishes are and delicious is an understatement to describe the dishes they served us. We had 3 different desserts and they're all homemade and that's a plus! The panna cotta with red berries is still my favorite, still the tiramisù and strawberry cheesecake are a must! End your meal the Italian way, caffè but take your time! Surprising, relaxing, exquisite food. We really enjoyed this amazing spot, both my sisters and I really had a great time. No doubt, we're going back. We fell in love with this restaurant. Thank you Carpaccio!!!

I come from the area around Venice but live abroad. I am always quite frustrated with Venice restaurants ‘cos I never really know where to find the real thing, that of my childhood. A friend suggested I try “Carpaccio”. I could not believe I got suggested a restaurant in the buzz of that area… but they were right: absolutely cozy restaurant, impeccable service and the food… oh the food! I am surprised by people complaining about prices. If you want to eat FRESH fish, that’s always been the deal. Sure you can get similar stuff for less but I would then highly doubt the source of that fish… a no go for me. Best thing: at the restaurant I heard quite a few people speaking Venetian dialect. That means Venetians eat here. And that says it all. It is NOT going to be the last time.

The food was good but relatively small portion for the money but i hear other places are worse. We ate dinner only once and it was impromptu visit from airport pick up. Very kind service, great flavors. Drinks are too expensive. Food is too expensive. Cappucino was only €5. Got €10 overcharged for something i didnt order but did not mention as i was with my wife and did not want to take away from the good time we had anyway. I adjusted in tip. I would possibly go back but would first try something comparable. For Venice this is one of the more reasonable ones and was a recommendation. Serving a little more food doesnt cost as much as we paid. So that is something i would improve as the owner. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere. They make you feel welcome. And the 10€ was definitely an honest mistake either on their side or mine. Really not sure. We had...
