Sushi Wok 008 — Restaurant in Venice

I paid 20.90 euro for 1 person, buffet menu on a Sunday at dinner time. Check their website for more price details. Keep in kind that all Italian restaurants apply a 2 euro (Coperto/Service) tax, some of them might not mention it, but it's not the case here. We arrived, a waiter greeted us and found us a table for two. They are quite digitalized and have tablets with the menu for sushi, desert and drinks at every table. The waiter showed us the menu and told us that we can order sushi by using the tablet (sushi is totally free, no matter how much you order) if you pay for a buffet. And he also told us we can go and serve ourselves from the buffet, which was by the way clean, well organized and the food was tasty, especially the scallops with parmesan and breadcrumbs. Era un posto in cui andavo spesso con i miei genitori quando ero piccola , era comodo perché trovavi sia piatti caldi che freddi , io sono amante del sushi i miei genitori non tanto perciò potevamo cenare insieme mangiando quello che preferiamo , ci siamo tornati oggi , e credo che un esperienza peggiore di questa non abbiamo mai avuto , potrebbe scalare il podio di “cucine da incubo “ , il pesce del sushi scadente decisamente non fresco , non parliamo del sashimi 🤢 molle e di colore bianco , il ristorante offre pesce,carne e verdura da poter cuocere sul momento ,mi sono fatta grigliare della carne , al momento del assaggio la carne sapeva di pesce , questo mi fa pensare che grigliano tutto insieme ,credo che non sappiano il significato di contaminazione alimentare , cosa anche abbastanza grave per chi magari è allergico al pesce . Patate al forno troppo lesse ( sarà perché le riscaldano più volte al giorno ) , calamari fritti gommosi , ravioli sulla piastra durissimi insomma l’unica cosa che si salva sono i ravioli al vapore. Il servizio abbastanza veloce pero assolutamente non accoglienti sono addirittura infastiditi del tuo arrivo. Ambiente abbastanza pulito , non garantisco per la cucina !😬 Il conto troppo salato per quello che si mangia ( con lo stesso prezzo vai in un’altro ristorante e mangi 100 volte meglio! ) . Incamminandoci verso l’uscita vidi uno dei cuochi fumare con i guanti ( utilizzati probabilmente per cucinare ) e infine socchiudere la porta con i guanti sempre indosso lasciandola socchiusa ( sarà stata la pausa cicca ). Ma la ciliegia sulla torta è stato vedere i miei genitori correre verso dei cespugli per rigurgitare tutto quello che avevano mangiato , quale piatto sarà stato a provocare sto volta stomaco ? Non lo so la scelta è...

Staff are nice & helpful, but I didn’t like food’s taste really. Even soy sauce & sweet&sour sauce had a wierd non-familiar taste. Prices has gone up, 13,90 for a week day launch. Covid vise, you can’t touch anything in the buffet & they serve for you. Banana sushi is a cute invention & is really tasty, other than that Vegetarian sushi, with avocado & cucumber was really bitter, gelato didn’t taste good, shrimps were with their hard skin on & not marinated.
