Trattoria Pizzeria di Anamika — Restaurant in Venice

Dear Anamika Mondal,

I recently dined at Bar Trattoria Pizzeria in Marghera and had a disappointing experience. Despite being the only customers, the outside porch was uncomfortably cold. The menu failed to indicate frozen seafood, leading to disappointment with the spaghetti frutti di mare and gnocchi with scampi. Upon inquiring about antipasti, an off-menu dish comprised of frozen elements was served, further diminishing the experience. When confronted, the owner assured the products were fresh. Certainly as fresh as they can get, when they in fact come out the freezer. I saw with my own eyes the products. It didn’t stop to the seafood. Mushrooms, vegetables, meats all came from a huge freezer I asked her to open so I could check. The quality of the red wine was also subpar.

I urge you to reconsider your approach, perhaps focusing on perfecting specific aspects. Maybe just make fresh good pizza, or fresh homemade pasta. But the experience I had tonight should not be allowed to continue. Transparency in menu descriptions and ensuring a warm dining environment would greatly enhance customer...
