Vincent Bar — Restaurant in Venice

I am an Italian and resident in Venice for 6 months a year. I know what I’m saying when I tell I had the worst sprits at this bar.

For a start, they used white wine instead of prosecco, which is the cheap alternative that already ruins a sprits. Then to make things worse, they finished the drink with leftover sparkling water of an almost empty bottle that had lost all of its bubbles. I left the bar with my cup, took a sip already knowing I was going to be disappointed, and ended up pouring it in the ground right after.

It was a young guy who made the spritz but it wasn’t his fault because two are the cases: Either he was not trained to make a decent, not even acceptable, spritz Or it was trained to make it so on purpose

While all “white” customers were getting served, I and cross the table, there was an African descent person ( who happened to be someone I know ) were completely invisible. We were forgotten at this cafe. To be fair, young people working at the cafe are absolutely fine as I used to go this place quite sometimes, but that particular day, there were only old lady and men working and unfortunately they have bias that minorities customers are never in their priorities. They can't see us as customers.

Anyway I have other reasons to avoid this place, because all pizza and pasta are frozen products. Drinks are different prices every-time, depending on the day and who I go with. Outdoor sittings seems nice but as soon as you sit, year around mosquitos...

We came here for a cold drink and a snack, and I wish we hadn't. It took them over 10 minutes to even acknowledge us. We ordered a bruschetta to share, when it arrived it was cold. We told them as such and they whisked it away without so much as an apology. When it arrived back it had obviously been nuked in the microwave, it looked disgusting. I brought it back and asked to just pay for the drinks, they looked at me in disgust whilst throwing it in the bin! Actually quite laughable and even charged us the cover charge. Avoid this place...
