Gelateria Brustolon — Restaurant in Vicenza

This was our favorite gelataria in Italy! My son has been looking for a zucca (pumpkin) flavor and found it here and loved it! Their other seasonal flavors were great and unique. The owner was super friendly and spent time chatting with us about his passion for gelato. Sad we are leaving, but can’t wait to come back on...

Not my cup of tea but my husband liked it. For me it was very heavy/ buttery and sweet. The flavors were not rich and the taste of heavy cream or milk was overwhelming. I guess it is a matter of personal preference, I know for a fact that my husband would love to go back and eat there again! Nice staff and cute indoors...

Storica gelateria del centro storico. Divenuti primi produttori di gelato in città e lo distribuiscono con i tipici carrelli. Aprono la prima gelateria di fianco al Ponte Pusterla nel 1927, al termine della prima guerra mondiale. Ci furono anche altre gelaterie appartenenti ai Brustolon, ma questa fu l'unica a salvarsi nei bombardamenti durante le seconda guerra mondiale. Le ricette e il rispetto della tradizione sono la chiave del loro successo, infatti hanno mantenuto le antiche ricette con prodotti di alta qualità. Anche se assecondano le preferenze dei clienti non hanno seguito le nuove "scuole di pensiero" nella produzione del gelato. È la gelateria più buona del centro storico, con un prezzo ottimo rispetto alle altre collocate in Piazza dei Signori e lungo il corso principale (offrono anche scelte vegane). Staff sempre super disponibile, cortese e solare.
