Ultima Spiaggia — Restaurant in Vicenza

Had the privilege to go back and visit this place this weekend and boy let me tell you what fun I had. I have been to this establishment a few times back before Covid and had not been back since then. So going back was kind of nostalgic for me. I must say I love how they have kept the place looking spacious and definitely a place to have a good time. I even got lucky on this night because they were having a silent party. If you have never been to a silent party, it’s when mostly up to three DJs are playing at the same time on three different channels. This establishment is located in the downtown Vicenza area so parking is very limited so you will have to find a parking area and walk to this establishment. It is right next to the water that runs through the city. And the atmosphere is one to definitely make sure you take pictures of. There is usually two bars, depending on the type of crowd that offer all types of drinks. And if you order a drink it,comes with a snack. This establishment is good for large and small crowds, even the first date lol. They also play in array of genres of music. Which definitely the song for the atmosphere. Metto una stella perché non se ne possono mettere di meno. Servizio a dir poco scadente, personale per nulla accogliente e professionale. Come se non bastasse, drink annacquati e a prezzi improponibili. Quasi 5 euro per uno spritz Hugo, allungato, senza nè cannuccia nè menta e con delle misere patatine da 20 centesimi, sufficienti per quattro persone ad un tavolo da otto. Riporto, inoltre, uno spiacevole presentimento, ovvero che sembra che i prezzi fluttuino a seconda della clientela o del momento, e con essi anche la qualità dei drink. Di fatto, la persona che mi ha servito, al momento del conto, ha fatto finta (e lo dico con certezza, perché, in primo luogo, mi sembra assurdo lavorare in un posto e non conoscere i prezzi degli aperitivi, soprattutto di quelli più gettonati, e inoltre la persona in questione aveva in mano lo scontrino dove c'erano chiaramente scritti i prezzi) di non sapere quanto venissero i singoli aperitivi, dopo avere esordito dicendo un determinato prezzo. Ha proseguito chiedendo ad una collega di controllare il prezzo alla cassa (nonostante avesse uno scontrino in mano con elencati drink e costi, ma fa niente). Dopo aver ricevuto l'informazione desiderata dalla collega, ha alzato il prezzo di 30 centesimi (da un prezzo originale di € 4,50) giustificandolo come prezzo per il "servizio", cosa a mio avviso ingiustificata. Non mi è mai capitato di assistere ad un tentativo così sfacciato di arrotondare a tutti i costi, ma non mi permetto di giudicare. Mi dispiace solamente che questo posto venga osannato e frequentato da molti, quando ci sono posti molto più economici e onesti in punti anche più belli del centro.
