A Delicious Surprise in Vietri sul Mare!

If you're visiting Vietri sul Mare and want to experience real local flavors, this small gastronomia is a must! It’s a cozy, family-run spot where everything feels homemade and full of love.

The food is absolutely delicious—fresh mozzarella, flavorful pasta, and the best eggplant parmigiana I’ve had on the Amalfi Coast. They also offer amazing cured meats, olives, and local specialties that you can take away or enjoy right there.

The staff are super friendly and happy to explain every dish, making you feel truly welcome. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a local, even if you're just passing through.

This place was delicious. The young guy that worked there was very nice and welcoming; he explained every plate they had and even helped us compose our meal. He even made us some avocado toast while we waited. The octopus salad was exquisite! It has a super nice façade and I think it's the best prices for an exquisite meal you can get in Vietri. I mean, there are a lot of tourist-trsp places that charge sooo much for food. It's crazy. In Il Sole di Vietri prices were more than reasonable and there wasn't even a price for copperto which is AMAZING seeing that some copperto prices can go up to 3€ per person, which is just nuts.

Must have had a bad experience compared to the glowing reviews. When we called in the server seemed much more interested in talking to his friends and smoking. They didn't have the wine we ordered and upsold us to a more expensive bottle. We tried to order food but they didn't have fries available and the waiter then took a good twenty minutes to come back to see if we wanted something else instead. Despite the fact it is a deli no aperitivo snacks were brought with the drinks. All in all it was a disappointing stop and is hard to recommend. Saving grace was that the wine was still
