The food quality is fantastic - it's definitely worth every penny. The salad and fries that come with a burger set are very delicious. Best burger I've had in Akita so far. Plus, the owner is very friendly and nice to talk to. Will definitely come back! Just note it's a very small space, probably does not seat more than 10-13 people.

数多ある酒類の中で唯一苦手なのがビールなんで、この手のパブは今まで避けて通ってきてました・・。 ですが半年ほど前、斜向かいにある「手品家」で呑んでた時、デリバリーでサミットさんに届けてもらったポテトフライが非常に美味しかった事を思い出し、山王ハシゴ酒の３軒目で訪問・・。 此方のポテトフライは「ベルジャンフリッツ」と言って本場ベルギースタイルのようです・・。 ベルギースタイルは最初は低温、少し休ませてから高温で二度揚げするのでカリっとした食感が特徴的で、ケチャップではなく特製のマヨネーズでいただきます・・。 デリバリーも良いけど、やっぱ揚げたては格別ですね・・。 樽に入っているクラフトビールは７種類あって、素人の僕は何を頼んだらよいのか判別できなかったので、可愛らしい店員さんに相談したら濃い目のテイストのマヌカハニーエールをチョイスしてくれました・・。 そして・・これがまた旨かった・・。 自分はもしかしたら最初の乾杯のビールが嫌いなだけで、遅い時間に呑む濃い口ビールは好きなのかもしれないと、５０歳を過ぎて新たな発見に至りました・・。

I come here once a week to enjoy craft beer and good company. It’s hard to find that combination in the countryside, so I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Akita City.

The owner is very nice and easy to talk to (in English as well) and the bartenders are the same. The food is some of the best I have had, and the time I spend there is unforgettable.

To anyone visiting or living in Akita City, come to Summit, order a fish and chips, and enjoy...

Nearly didn’t go to this place, but really glad I did. The guy who owns it is very cool and the craft beer is excellent. They also do a fantastic fish and chips thanks to the cute cook. A great night and I’ll be back next time...
