Shabu SAI AEON MALL Asahikawa Ekimae — Restaurant in Asahikawa

Would love to give at least 4 stars to the restaurant. The beef and pork was good even when we ordered the normal beef and pork buffet set.

Sadly a sour face server was taking our order. Very rude and unfriendly I might add. Maybe she had a bad day.

She took our soup order wrong and when we told her it was wrong she rudely said we ordered wrongly. Only when she brought Japanese menu and I showed her which soup we ordered did she agree. Took the whole pot away and walked away while grunting.

Also no one explained to us that in this restaurant the ice cream is charged. We have been around aeon malls and eaten at many shabu restaurants. The ice cream and water is always included. So again the same waitress just walked up to the table, scribbled something and left without even saying anything. And later we were charged. Paid for it since it was charged. Felt they could at least inform before hand as the English menu did not state it

I having dinner on 6th around 5pm. This girl was the one who bring me to the table and tendering. The first impression is not welcoming at all but is fine since is buffet style I not expect any 5 star service. However come to tendering part I didn’t bring the receipt to cashier and I dun no when where is the receipt place on. This girl keep question and ask me go and take. The overall experience was okay, but when it came to payment time, a young lady who was the cashier at 16th Dec 7.20pm, assisted me. I proceeded with card payment, but I inserted my card instead of what she mentioned in japanese asking me to tap instead. At that point of time, I saw she rolled her eyes and shaked her head.
