This is a Japanese National Chain that is a Coffee Shop Cafe. While they serve Coffee, their focus is on being a cafe first and serving their personalized blend/style of Coffee. Their mascot is a Cowboy, and in the Cowboy Spirit, they serve large portions of everything at the store, especially by Japanese Standards! They have an English Menu, but you will have to ask for it when you are seated.
The Cafe bakes its own soft spongy bread daily for both its menu and for purchase at the register. They are most famous for their sandwiches, including their Egg Salad Sandwich as well as their Pork Cutlet Sandwiches. The white bread they use is soft, spongy, and a tad airy, but is incredibly soft and envelopes the sandwich ingredients beautifully.
They also have quite a few desserts as well, and while I was there, I saw everyone ordering a little bit of everything off of the menu--coffee, pasta, sandwiches, desserts, stew, karaage, so it seemed safe to say that everything here on the menu is pretty good and worth trying! They also have some cute mugs including a Cowboy Boot that you can buy at the register too.
The atmosphere and inside of the Cafe is really cozy as well! The inside is all decorated with bright light wood and trestles, and reminds you of being in a cottage of sorts. Despite it being very busy, everyone was able to enjoy their conversations in peace and it felt very personalized. Quaint, relaxing, and inviting are the three qualities I would give to it! If you're looking for a place to sit and study for a bit while occasionally munching on a sandwich and sipping some coffee, this is the place to go!

Read moreAs you walk into the shop, you will feel a very vibrant and almost familiar feeling as if you were in your own home. The interior design of the shop was delightfully presentable and surely enough, the staff is hospitable. However, everything goes downhill as you take a seat.
Food, napkins, and all sorts of grime seemingly crawl as you rest your feet on the floor directly beneath your table. You take a peak beneath the table and sure enough, assumptions are true. I force myself to look up into the face of my beautiful wife as she smiles not knowing what trap we just walked into.
We wait... 17 minutes in fact to finally receive water and be told to ring the bell if we are ready to order. I fix my eyes on the face of the young woman trying to muster what's left of her confidence. "We are ready," I promptly interrupt.
The food comes! Ah... Delightful fried chicken, a familiar friend of mine. I slightly kiss the exterior of the juicy treat as it pressed against my lips. Opened my mouth as if to greet an old friend you haven't seen since last night's dinner. I bite and the juices overflow into my taste buds much to my delight. I pull away my hand to stop myself from consuming it all and notice a rather unsightly view. My chicken, my friend, my comrade, my "nakama"... was pink. My...
Read moreThis place is a good Cafe to visit and have a dessert and coffee. I got the hot cake with icecream on top(shiro-noir) with their (komeda) black coffee. The cake is highly recommended. That cake is a mix between a pancake and a croissant. The coffee really didn't do it for me. It tasted like a regular cup of coffee. It was good but not great. The menu made it sound like an exclusive kind of coffee bean. I also got their verity sandwichs and again good but not great. Overall, a good place to stop and have a coffee and a bite to eat. Just don't expect to...
