Kotobuki — Restaurant in Chiba

After a 15-hour flight, one hour drive to the hotel I was starving and looking for a good meal. This establishment was right across the street. We received some help using the ticket machine from a customer. We sat down, placed the tickets on the counter, and then proceeded to watch an artisan prepare the bowls. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is relaxing. The owner was very patient with us as we knew zero Japanese. We ate here three times on our seven day trip, and it was excellent each time. Each time I also ordered the additional spices...

Fine ramen restaurant which I visited at recommendation of somebody else. You need to order your dish at the vending machine to get your ticket. There are different options to choose from but I took the popular noodles with thick white chicken broth and some slices of pork on top. Normally I would eat all of the broth, but it seems to be very greasy. Lots of flavour though, but I guess lots of calories too. I like the place, cause I really had the feeling I was dining in a Japanese only...

Very good value for this good flavor ramen. The broth is very rich and creamy, it goes well with thin noodles imho. Service was nice and took time too talk to us (we were the last customers). I will go again when I feel very hungry.

I wish the menu was international with some information about the broth and miso.

Miss the 5 🌟 due to location/comfort/high end product. I still highly recommend this place if you like creamy ramen...
