【隠れ家カフェの贅沢な朝】
Tucked away just an 8-minute walk from Fujisawa Station, MATTARI is the kind of cozy, polished café that feels like a secret worth keeping. Finding the entrance took a moment, but isn’t that part of the charm when discovering hidden gems?
The ambiance was immediately inviting—soft ambient music, warm lighting, and a friendly staff member who welcomed me with a smile and a choice of seating. I opted for a table by the window, where I could admire the charming outdoor seating area and the tree adorned with hanging lamps. I can only imagine how magical this spot must be in warmer months.
I ordered the Bacon & Cheese Panini (¥968) and upgraded to a set for an extra ¥350, which included a cappuccino. The cappuccino arrived in a generously sized cup, much larger than expected—a pleasant surprise. The panini itself was a perfect morning indulgence: crispy bacon, creamy melted cheese, and a beautifully cooked egg, all nestled between golden, toasty bread.
I also appreciated the thoughtful details, like the power outlet near my seat and the dog-friendly terrace with a leash hook—small touches that make a place stand out. MATTARI is now on my list of cafés to return to. Highly recommended for a relaxing start to the day.
