Amazing value! Almost every katsu set (katsu + cabbage + rice + miso soup + small veggie) is under ¥1000 yen, with good taste and quality?

Ordering is done via an app/tablet (English option available) on every table so it makes ordering exactly what you want extremely easy and accurate. The setting is very casual like a Coco Curry or Sukiya so you don't feel out of place coming straight from a nature walk/hike or a day at Fuji Q vs. a more traditional/fancier tonkatsu restaurant.

Why 5 stars? Yes, this isn't a Michelin restaurant but it gets so many things right: Great value, clean establishment, ease of ordering, casual setting, side sauces/condiments and fast service. Most establishments would struggle to get 3 out of 6. Will definitely visit again if in the area....

Food was good, not the best but definitely worth a visit if you are touring near kawaguchi lake and mt.fuji. Food portion is reasonale and you can select a range of side dishes, but bear in mind that the side dish (I got cold udon) can be bigger than you thought. Loved the ice cream, smooth like gelato. Personally enjoyed the pork loin curry, the curry is very fragrant The barley rice is very tasty. The meat is quite decent amount.

If you eat in, there is more lettuce and miso soup. Take away will not have miso soup and little lettuce.
