When ordering, simply say "HIGAWARI, INAKA" to get the same curry I ordered.

This place is run by a lovely lady. You can choose from three options: curry, hayashi (hashed beef), or country curry (curry with vegetables).

The thick curry sauce has just the right amount of richness, with a nostalgic flavor. Unlike recent high-end curries, it reminds me of the taste from my childhood. I can't say if it suits foreign tastes, but for us Japanese, it's a comforting taste of home.

If you are looking for a traditional Japanese curry, hayashi (curry with vegetables) or original style, this is the place for you. This small restaurant is run by a sweet grandma who's very kind. Can't speak English but it's fairly easy to order. The tonkatsu is large, crispy and freshly made in front of you. We got the Katsu chicken curry and the pork tonkatsu curry.
