中華料理 帰郷 箱崎店 — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Great spot for fairly authentic Chinese cuisine. Then owners as well as the small groups of lunch customers were all speaking Mandarin which was a good sign upon entering the restaurant. Aside from the typical offerings in the lunch menu to satisfy Japanese palates, a look at the full (dinner) menu indicated items that one rarely finds in Japan except perhaps in Yokoyama. Steamed buns and lamb dishes indicated a lean towards northern Chinese cooking. The pan fried dumplings were not the kind one would expect in Japan as the skin was thicker and chewy but cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, juicy and mochi mochi on the inside. Table condiments included red vinegar and chili oil... perfect to accompany this dish. Will definitely make an effort to come...

初めて行きました。 注文したのは、レバニラと餃子です。 レバニラとても美味しかったです。少しスパイが効いてご飯ともよく合う。 餃子は注文してから包んでいるっぽく、時間が掛かっていました。15分くらい？ 味はかなり美味しく、皮はモチモチして餡もジューシーで熱々。 価格は数年前から上がって町中華にしては安い感じしない(レバニラ定食950円、餃子650円)ので星一減です。 これで前の価格帯だったら文句無しに満点でした。 店員の態度は全然普通です。若い女性の中国人？の店員さんはハキハキと好印象でした。
