RED BROOKLYN — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Not an exceptional experience here, with my main bone of contention being the cost of the Cheeseburger set which came at an exorbitant 1400円 and for all those precious pennies you get nothing more than something that tastes quite similar to the Lotteria Zeppin burger (770円). Service speed was swift and so they get one tick there- but the burger itself fell far short of expections; taste was alright but it was absolutely dripping in grease for one - which broke the hamburger patty apart to the point where I felt it was like eating a minced beef sandwich with cheese rather than an actual burger, and also the overall size of the burger was too small. Cheese was decent- mild cheddar I think. Bun, no compaints. Fries were just fries. However there is one saving grace, and I know some other reviewers have dissed it-- but I actually really enjoyed the brown sugar Coke and thought it earned the franchise a redemption point. But man, the price...ugh...horrendous. Same price as Hard Rock? Wow, the balls of that. I hate to see a burger shop flounder, but these guys are going to go down in flames soon unless they do something drastic, such as make a burger with more X-Factor or at least increase the portion size, as I expect to be walking around like a stuffed balloon after spending that much money on a burger and yet was still left pretty famished after and had to shoot over to Dominoes to finish myself off. Bummer. Yea-- sharing the same pricepoint as legit burger joints such as Hard Rock and Kahulaina which are in the same town in it's current state is just...

Came for a late lunch here around 230pm on Tuesday - the food court this shop is in wasn't busy. Ordered the bacon cheese burger set which was around 1700 yen and included small fries and drink.
