Yagura Sushi — Restaurant in Fukuoka

I don't often leave reviews but now I have to because it was such a great experience! I came in pretty late and got a seat easily. The menu was translated in English so it was easy to choose. I had the 8 special of the day menu, and one of the mushroom soups. I also ordered 3 extra single nigiri because I didn't eat much all day. The food was so good and it's all locally fished. The owners were such kind people who made sure I was well looked after, even got some extra green tea! They showed great interest and we could connect so well despite the language barrier so we had such a fun time talking to each other! What a great finish to my lovely time in...

Had a fantastic meal here. The sushi chefs were delightful and kind to this foreigner who cleary showed much enjoyment of their choices for me. The price was so reasonable! Some of the sushi had too much wasabi, which was a bit overwhelming.
