Yakitori Yashichi — Restaurant in Fukuoka

I don't want to ruin this place by bringing in too many tourists, but I honestly have to say it's one of the best yakitori restaurants I've been to. Wide range of chicken, pork, and vegetable skewers between 150円 and 300円 and some specialty skewers as well, like wagyu beef with onion and pepper. My top recommendations: eggplant with miso (not on English menu), tomato (wrapped in bacon and covered in cheese), gingko nuts, pork belly, shiitake mushroom. But honestly it was all delicious. Oh, and note that the "yam" is what we call "taro" in the US.

Menu has Japanese, English, and Korean. Some items require 2+ orders if you're a group of 2+ people (menu will have an asterisk next to it). For two of us with drinks and 400円 seating charge each (for cabbage and two side dishes), the total came out to

Best yakitori place I have where situated in a quiet street. Food is delicious and price is reasonable. All staffs are friendly. The best dishes I like is chicken wings but all other grilled items are good too. I almost tried all of their grilled items in 6 visits within my 2 weeks stays in Fukuoka. 밤11시 정도에 갔더니 현지인 두테이블만 있어서 바로 착석 했고요 메뉴판은 일본어 메뉴판에 사진이 거의 없어 당황했습니다 그래서 다찌 앞에 꼬치들이 진열되어 있어 그거 보고 주문하려고 자리를 다찌로 옴겼는데.. ㅎㅎ 한국인 종업원을 불러 주어서 친절히 메뉴 안내 해주셨네요 전체적으로 직원들 모두 친절했고 특히 한국인 종업원이 잘해주셔서 인상깊었습니다

꼬치들은 정말 맛있었어요 아쉽게도 와이프가 닭껍질이나 내장등을 못먹어서 이를 제외한 추천 메뉴로 주문했는데 정말 맛있었습니다. 특히 와이프는 배추를 베이컨으로 감싼 꼬치가 제일 맛있었다고 하네요 전 토마토, 베이컨, 삼겹살, 닭살 모두 다 맛있었습니다

분위기도 다른 테이블에 현지인들만 있다보니 정말 일본인 일상에 제가 자리 하고 있구나 라는 느낌이 팍팍 듭니다

저는 개인적으로 일본어를 모르지만 한국어 메뉴판이 있는것 보다 이렇게 용기내서 접해보는 것이 더 낳다고 생각합니다

1년만에 재방문했습니다 따로 리뷰 작성이 안되는것 같아 1년 전 리뷰에 수정으로 추가 작성과 사진 등록 합니다 여전히 생기 넘치고 친절한 가게 입니다

한국에 메뉴판이 생겼고 여전히 한국인 보다는 현지 직장인들이 전부 다 였습니다

한국인 직원은 이번에 갔을때는 없었고 어리고 귀여운 여직원들이 많았습니다 밝고 항상 웃어주는 분들이 고마웠고 좋았습니다

다만 작년에 청년들의 우렁찬 목소리들이 안들려 그태의 파이팅 넘치는 모습들이 그리웠습니다 ㅋ
