HUB Funabashi — Restaurant in Funabashi

I don't live far from here, so I've been a few times. The drinks are fine, but a little pricey. The food is your standard bar food, western style (mostly). The Hub in Funabashi has recently become a bit more lively, and seems to be attracting more pretty girls than before. Not sure why; maybe the local hostesses are stopping in for before-shift drinks.

The Hub seems to be becoming a local pick-up spot. My first visit in a long time was on a Saturday in March, with a couple of friends, and within literally ten minutes there was an English-speaking girl sitting on my lap getting pretty flirty. She wasn't a pro, and was there with a couple of her work friends. Had I been of a mind, I think it would have been pretty easy to peel her away from her friends for the evening. I will have to investigate this...

Although the staff can help and serve English-speakers fairly well and the general quality of the food and drink is ok, it often seems to be fully booked (even when it's empty) and it seems to be more of a privately-booked sports bar than a casual, walk-in British-styled pub these days. This is the main reason I've stopped going so often to this...

Do not go here if you foreigner they will seat you in the back table away from customers. The price was more than other place even with members card. They are really racist here don't bother to come if you not Japanese. You are not allowed to interact with Japanese customers. Worst hub...
